WHY CHOOSE THE FOUNDATION PATHWAY PROGRAMME?

UP Education is a pathway provider of educational opportunities for students seeking higher education in New Zealand and Australia that has been in business for the past 20 years. UP Education proudly partners with three of the best Government Universities in New Zealand – University of Auckland (# 81 in World by QS Ranking), Victoria University of Wellington (#233 in World by QS Ranking) and AUT University ( #437 in world by QS Ranking). These elite university partnerships give students who enroll in the one year foundation programmes at UP Education the much needed competitive edge in gaining admission to these top tier universities for Under graduate education.

The Foundation Preparation Pathway Programme (FPP) offered by UP Education is designed to fast-track ambitious international students to the foundation programme in New Zealand. While the foundation programme offered by UP Education in New Zealand is usually completed over 18 months, high performers on the off-shore FPP programme are entitled to complete the foundation programme in accelerated mode (6 months), thus making entry into the university both quicker and easier while giving them a head start compared to direct entry candidates.

The 18 week FPP programme will be hosted in Rajasthan by the Dolphins Group of Schools.

HOW THE FPP PROGRAMME WORKS

On successful completion of online assessments, high scorers in the 4 months FPP programme are expected to fast track to the foundation course in New Zealand. To gear them for the foundation programme, preparatory programme students are tested on academic and English proficiency on completion of 17 weeks of instructional training. They are trained in English for IELTS, Tertiary Study Skills (essay writing, report writing, presentation skills etc) and academic electives (Mathematics, Science, Business, Ancient History) before they are tested on the same.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Interested students should hold evidence of meeting the current academic entry requirements such as:

  • Student should be aged 16 or older

  • Successfully completed year 10 in India

  • Completed the equivalence of IGCSE with 2 x B and 2 x C passes

  • Have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.0

Dolphins Group of Schools will register the interested student to the FPP programme only after the student passes an entrance exam, interview and counselling session.
